Stop being the listener,
start speaking Spanish

3 changes my client made to finally start speaking Spanish every day and connect with other people
Free resource. Made for women living in Spain
who already know some Spanish and want to start speaking it.

You live in Spain and you’re tired of…

🌿 ending up smiling and nodding because you can’t find the words fast enough
🌿 always being the listener in conversations in Spanish
🌿 understanding more than you can say
🌿 feeling nervous every time you need to talk to a native speaker
🌿 people switching to English when they hear your accent
🌿 wishing you could handle conversations with more ease, and less Google Translate

Sound familiar? Then this is for you.

You probably don’t need more Spanish.

Maybe you understand Spanish when people speak to you, more or less.

You can order your coffee, go to the supermarket and get through everyday situations.
But the moment a real conversation starts, with your neighbour, at the school gate, or when someone asks what you think, the words don’t come out.

You smile, you nod, and you stay quiet, worried about making mistakes.

That’s not because you don’t know enough Spanish. It’s because knowing Spanish and using Spanish are two different things.
These 3 changes are exactly for that: no more vocabulary, no more grammar. Three specific, doable shifts that helped one of my clients go from staying quiet to joining in.
In this short video, I share the story of Lena, one of my clients, and the 3 changes that helped her go from staying quiet to joining in:

✨ Change 1: how to stop letting the fear of mistakes keep you quiet
✨ Change 2: a simple daily habit to get Spanish out of your head and into your mouth
✨ Change 3: how to turn “I want to speak Spanish” into something you can act on this week

Plus a small action for each one, so you’re not just watching, you put it into practice.

¡Hola! Soy María

In 2013, I packed my bags and moved abroad for the first time.

Since then, life has taught me to get by in four languages and three countries. That journey made me realise something: when you speak the language of the place where you live, life becomes much easier. You feel freer, more independent, and you start finding your voice in a new language.

I know what it feels like to understand everything and not find the words fast enough. To want to connect, and feel the language getting in the way. To not know how to react in certain situations and end up smiling and nodding.

That’s why I created this. Not as a teacher looking in from the outside, but as someone who has been (and is) exactly where you are.

I hope this resource helps you start making Spanish your own.

María 💛

You already have more Spanish than you think.
These 3 changes will help you start using it.
