From being the listener to speaking
You live in Spain and you’re tired of always being the one who just listens in Spanish conversations. You want to feel more independent in Spain, and more like yourself in Spanish.
TRIBIA
Spanish for Women
From being the listener to speaking
You live in Spain and you’re tired of always being the one who just listens in Spanish conversations. You want to feel more independent in Spain, and more like yourself in Spanish.
You live in Spain and you’re tired of…
🍃 always being the listener in conversations in Spanish
🍃 understanding more than you can say
🍃 people switching to English when they hear you speaking Spanish
🍃 feeling nervous every time you talk to a native speaker
🍃 wanting to say something, but not doing it because you can’t find the words
🍃 being afraid of making mistakes in Spanish
🍃 struggling with daily situations like the restaurant, the bank, the hairdresser or the doctor
It doesn’t have to be like that
You want to feel yourself in Spain and find your voice.
And for that, you need to…
Start speaking
Speak Spanish without waiting for the perfect sentence.
Regular speaking is the fastest way to build confidence. And making mistakes, the best way to improve.
Build that confidence in the TRIBIA program and bring it into your everyday life in Spain.
Bring Spanish into your everyday life
Learn the Spanish you actually need to live here: ordering at a restaurant, explaining a problem to the plumber, understanding your neighbor without that «wait, what?» face. You don’t need to memorize endless grammar rules, you need the words you actually use every day.
Feel supported
You’re not alone on this path, you have a clear guide and my feedback along the way. This is your refugio lingüístico —linguistic refuge—, a space where making mistakes never feels embarrassing.
What the women who are already part of TRIBIA say:
I wanted to speak more freely, and let go of everything having to be perfect.
Before, if I talked to Spanish people, they’d talk and talk, and I understood, but the conversation was mostly them. Now it’s actually a conversation, not a monologue.
Sending voice messages was the most useful part, it forced me to speak. At the beginning I’d take notes before recording. By the end, I just sent something. That’s a huge step.
— Carina
I used to freeze the moment people started speaking Spanish to me, my brain would just go empty. Now I just talk, I can make mistakes, and that’s just how I learn.
The live sessions feel almost like talking to a friend, not a classroom. That’s what makes it easier to be open and not afraid of making mistakes. I catch myself knowing more than I thought I would after 12 weeks.
— Franzi
My knowledge of Spanish was limited to the bare minimum. I struggled switching from English to Spanish in day-to-day conversations, and the fear of making mistakes was often stronger than me. Things changed with María’s classes. Spanish stopped being just a tool to order a coffee, and became a language I could actually live in. Today, I work and live in Spanish.
— Martina
I started with zero Spanish. My last teacher had actually told me it ‘just wasn’t for me.’ A few months later, I can hold small conversations, read basic things, and get by in everyday situations, mistakes and all.
It feels like a real safe space, I don’t feel bad making mistakes, you just correct me, and I can take it in from there. I didn’t stay for the price or the convenience. I stayed because I felt truly comfortable, and I knew I was in good hands.
— Jessica
I started at A2. A year later, I can talk about topics like ecology or the economy, things I couldn’t have touched a year ago.
Sending voice messages instead of writing helped me the most. When you write, you overthink it. With voice notes, you prepare a little, but it’s not a full script, so I still have to think it through myself, in real time. That’s exactly what pushed me forward.
— Anna
I really like the vibe in our class, because it’s only girls. We can talk about other things too, not just grammar. I really like our community.
I really enjoyed these lessons. It doesn’t feel like lessons, it’s just like hanging around, talking, and learning something new.
Now I always try to speak to local people, and it’s great to see that people understand me.
— Kim
¡Hola, soy María!
In 2013, I packed my bags and moved abroad.
Since then, life has taught me to get by in four languages and three countries. That journey made me realize something: when you speak the language of the place where you live, everything changes. You feel freer, more independent, and much more yourself.
That’s why I decided to guide other women through their own Spanish journey. I started by teaching in schools for six years, and later created TRIBIA. Because I discovered that the perfect Spanish from textbooks does little good if it doesn’t help you communicate in real life.
Today, what I enjoy most is getting to know each woman’s story, listening to her challenges, and walking alongside her so she feels a little more herself every day… in Spanish too.
Stop being the listener,
start speaking Spanish
3 changes my client made to her routine to start speaking Spanish every day and connect with other people
With three actions for you to take

If this resonates with you,
stay here a little longer and let me tell you who I am
and how I can help you find the words in Spanish,
speak without freezing, and improve your life in Spain.
